Portable Burner/stove

I am looking to buy portable stove for emergency cases. I am confused if i buy induction ( about 50$) with limited utensils that can be used with it or regular coil which is 1/5 of price and can use all the utensils.
It is really temporary for kitchen renovations and i have instant pot etc as well for other cooking.

as you know we can not use all the utensils with induction like iron etc but i have used it in the past and it is really useful and easy to clean.
However in my case, it is just temporarily.

Since you have small children I would get the induction stove for safety. I bought one on Amazon for $50 several years ago and it still works well with daily use. I bought it to learn OPOS cooking but my DH appropriated it since it boils water for his coffee so quickly.
I also have a camping stove which uses a small propane tank. It is very quick and efficient but again probably not the best choice with little kids.

Induction is good relatively but one must have patience and time!
Regular coil tad risky with kids around.
If open terrace or large open space with enormous sunshine, one can consider solar cooker that coverts high frequency lightwaves into infra red low frequency wave. It would take lot of time .
One pot one shot on induction oven saves time, less risky and easy to maintain aesthetics. Of course you got to be selective of food items that can suit cooking in OPOS.
