Hi I just want to let you know that the pop up advt at the right bottom screen is very disturbing, i feel there are enough advts already on the page that the loading of the page is delayed at times. I am not sure if it is only me complaining or are there others too. Penny
I totally agree with you. Earlier the Dove ad right at the top was highly irritating when you log in.Now that has disappeared,i think. The moderators can look into it and ensure smooth browsing for us here.
I agree with you all 100%, its quiet disturbing.Tried blocking the pop ups by turning on pop up blocker ....but in vain. Mods please look into this.
Dear IL'ites, The mod "Priya_Mommy" has given the right response on behalf of IL already. However, I just wanted to make an additional clarification. We don't do any kind of Pop-Up or Intrusive ads as such in IL as a policy. The ads - Dove and Pears (displayed to India based members) referred here - they are not pop-ups. They are expandable ads as known in the internet market which are dismissible. Not persistent. Likewise, the small ad unit seen at the right-bottom of the browser (by US/Canada members), they are non-intrusive ads too again those are dismissible too. Sorry, if they are of inconvenience. But we are in need of displaying them for the little revenue we could make to keep the site running!
popup propagated.!! Hi, Indusladies site is blocked in my office. So I used to just do "Select All" and copy the blogs that I would like to read and forward to my office id and read it there. Now whenever I open any browser window I see the popup ad, I see in the right bottom of the indusladies site. I am worried whether it might be some virus or something. Pls advice..

Re: popup propagated.!! Aruna, I dont say popup is diturbing... i understood about the necessity of adverts in this site. But after I opened the blogs i forwarded , I am seeing the popups in all the sites I am opening... like Google.com.. I doubt it shud be something wrong...
