I dont agree with your statement that the politicians who failed to keep their hormones under check, go on to prosper.
To name a few Amarmani Tripathi is in jail with his wife, N D Tiwari had to lose the governorship of a state, a couple of ministers are in jail in the Bhanwari Devi case. Even Kanda had to give up his Home portfolio.
Very often the men have to pay a high price in their political life.

Having said that, it is time we women stand up for our rights. To modify the famous lines:
ETERNAL VIGILANCE IS THE PRICE WE HAVE TO PAY FOR OUR PROGRESS.
