Hello ladies,

Looks like its a season of poems........

I'm not good at it but I would like to share a small poem that my husband wrote to me during our dating period - years ago.

I'd preserved it along with the rose that he had given me.

M - Mesmerising, Your Eyes - Clear, Beautiful & Pure
E - Everlasting Your Embrace - Secure & Warm to Lure
E - Empowering Your Love - To All My Ailments a Cure
N - Nihilistic My Existence - Without You Being For Sure
A - Awash with your closeness - I Beg God Now to Prolong My Tenure

This is another one which my hubby SMS-ed me years ago when I was still working....

M - Morning morning My Dearest Pretty Girl
E - Envious Tuft of Hair You Are About to Uncurl
E - Eyes fully Open to Insert Lens on the Dark Beautiful Pearl
N - Naturally Pouting Full Lips Ready for Sexy Smile R Instant Quarrel
A - Attire Formal and Gait Confident U are One Complete Lady my Arms
Would Always want to Curl

Your name

Your name has brought out the poet in your husband! I hope he doesn't mind your sharing all these private baatein with us? Have you written any poems for him?
Talking about poems - when I was about 14 I was going by the toy train to Ooty. Some guys from Lovedale school were also in the same train. They were having a bet about who would recite a poem to a girl. One guy came up to me and said:

"Come to me my love, oh come!
I love you from my heart's bottom!
I've loved you since the last Autumn!
Oh, come to me my love, Oh come!"

He said this and ran! I was too dazed to react and my friends were rolling over with laughter! Decades have passed, but I haven't forgotten the incident or the poem(neither have my friends!). My husband and son also had a good laugh when I told them about this!

Dear Sharada,

Nice to hear from u.

No I've never written any poem for him - don't think I'm good at it...but I go hunting for the best cards with beautiful words and addon a few sentences of my love for him & arrange for candle-lit dinners at home; surprise him now and then - etc.

It was nice to read about ur toytrain experience- those moments stay in our mind and definitely bring in a smile at the very thought of it.
