pls help with my 3 yr old

    hi friends - Thanks all for your confirmations , personal experiences and advise , it gave me comfort and in these couple of days i really tried to keep my mood better ( really tough) , ignored smaller whimps and really tried hard to saying "NO " to min.

    Think its working .. lets see .

    Priyanka - i dont see anything wrong in letting the child know that what she is doing has an effect.. and it needn't be pleasant. not to the extent of constantly policing and bringing in a fear or negativity in the child. also sometimes let her make decisions (like saying "i am not saying no to your jumping. but IF you aren't careful, you could fall down and hurt yourself. so decide.") and make her gracefully accept the consequences as her own.

    and yes priyanka.. i think its an age. my dd used to be amazed with this humpty dumpty too.. we must have had some 5-6 books where different pictures of the same HD was there..and she used to go thru them everyday with a loving smile.
