This will be going to be a long thread, so please bear with my post.

So my age is 43, I had 16 Yr old son and 8 year old daughter, to give a brief introduction my husband is a free lancer, he will be on overseas for most of the month.

So I had weekly help who will come and do ironing, cleaning of house and washroom cleaning, so rest day to day errands and everyother things of the house I take care.

From past 1 year I'm lacking energy most of the times and mostly half of the month, so I went for checkup they did all the tests and said may be I'm in perimenopause or pre menopause stage. My bleeding is now only fro 1 to 2 days and I'm free but before math of periods I'm dreading.

Sometimes I'm behaving like histeric patient like I was behaving like no one should say any thing to me and whatever works I delegated must do properly.

So today scenario was I told my son to give some hotmilk to her sister before sleep as i want to take some rest and I went into bedroom. Later after sometime my daughter came into bedroom and said brother don't want to give her milk and I went to check with my son he started telling sister was delegating orders to him and not requesting and he told her to wait for 10 minutes it seems, and he said she won't die if she waits for minutes. I don't know something triggered me and I started to pull my son's hair and gave 1 tight slap to my daughter and shouting like he'll. I was scolding them with big mouth and shouting like crazy person.

But now I'm feeling ashamed of myself every month I'm trying to take care of my mood surrounding the periods something or small things happen I will behave hysterically this is the is the first time it became physical.
Tomorrow or dayafter tomorrow I will get my periods for sure.

Everymonth a big fight happens within one or two days I will get my periods.
So what's the solution for this by the time I reach menopause stage I will become mental and an enemy for everyone in my family. I'm dreading.

During last medical visit when I explained the situation to doctor they r saying a psychologist will help you not a gynecologist and they told observe for two more months if no improvement they will refer me to psychologist.

I don't understand why they will send me to psychologist when i strongly believe something is going on with my periods.

    Please help

P.S I'm not living in India

I'm not a doctor but looks like your issues are arising because of your fatigue.

Please get your Vitamin D, B12 , Iron (not just Haemoglobin but full iron panel including ferritin and iron saturation %), TSH, Free T3 and Free T4.

You will be surprised to know how many folks don't even realize they may be essential vitamins deficient not because their diet lacks nutrients but because their absorption capacity is poor.

If there's any deficiency in nutrients, vitamin supplements should fix it in a few months. Your fatigue, and therefore your mood should improve greatly.

Please do keep us posted and hope you feel better soon.

Like gamma50 said get blood work and follow up for thyroid, deficiencies. Improve your diet with lots of fruits, vegetables. take very good sleep every day. improve your life style with diet exercise, good sleep, yoga, meditation etc. now that you know how guilty you feel you don't want to repeat it ever. Control your anger always always. take ashwagandha without fail one week before periods. take till you get periods.

If this is not your usual behaviour, check your blood pressure too! And sugar levels!

If this is menopause related, the herb shatavari will help a lot. Ashwangandha will increase sense of wellbeing. You definitely need a very good vitamin and mineral supplement.
Make time for yourself learn pranayama - anulom vilom pranayam to start.
if you can do some yoga (Habuild comes to mind), it will help get your body back in order.

please see reseach link on shatavari below.

    From this week Vaaramalar.

In a nutshell, Please drink Buttermilk.
