Please suggest me few job options to get busy and exposure

Hi All,

I came to US (bay area) about 3 yrs back but just staying mostly at home. I have a healthcare degree from india but it is not recognized here. I really want to get out, explore some job options and make friends. But don't know how to go about it - Any pointers ?
- Want to improve my english fluency
- Want to do some job preferably related to healthcare or admin type or part time work from home

I would appreciate all opinions and suggestions
