Please suggest diet for cholesterol problem

    i second laks09 here, there is an increase in triglycerides in the one year gap. proper diet, reducing oil and fat too. garlic,bran/oats foods that are rich in fibre, loads of green vegetables, and eating food that has more soluble fibre helps in reducing cholesterol. taking fenugreek, barley will also help.and yes exercise benefits a lot.

    ask her to review her levels in a month or two if there is not much difference may be going for the drugs is the best option. because the ratio cholesterol/hdl is still high,
    and also ask her to reduce to salt a little. sodium is almost close to the max..
