Plano or Frisco?

I currently live in an apartment in Frisco, I have a son who is in middle school and a daughter in elementary school; coming academic year, my son will go to high-school, and my daughter will go to middle school.

We are considering purhcasing a home; we are contemplating should we consider homes in Frisco near Centennial(high-school) and Clark(middle school) or in plano near Jasper(high-school) and Rice(middle school).

I was told that in plano the houses are old and there is a lot of peer pressure at school on kids.

I would appreciate any suggestions.
