Planning a Themed 1st birthday Party

For 6 months old babies:
duck toy for bath time, small hand towel set, or spoon and mashing bowl as they start solids soon, or simply Johnson and Johnson massage oil or baby cream set

6 months will not yet know Micky mouse, so may be u want to compromise here.

For 6 month old, spoons that change colors depending on how hot/cold the food is. As a mom I loved it.

Love your ideas, let me see if I can get any of there with mickey on it, within my budget.
else I will have to compromise.

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for all your help.
I finally got return gifts fro all the kids coming.

1. Mickey mouse stationary items for school going kids.
2. Mickey mouse board books for 1 to 2.5 year olds.
3. Mickey mouse mashing bowls for below 1 year olds.
And a mickey mouse cup for my LO. He just love Mickey.

Got a mickey mouse printed birthday shirt for the birthday boy.

Decorations also almost decided.
I am planning on making most of them myself. So once I get it done, I will share details
Hopefully I will have time to finish all what I am planning.

Also, I am planning a koy bag/Piniata.
I have seen that piniatas are Mexican culture and they fill it with candies.
But I am not sure how many parents will appreciate me showing their kids with candies.
What else can be filled in them? please suggest.

Pinata is great idea....with candies what kids like.
You can try with different fillers like, small colorful balls

Hello ladies,

Thanks for all your help.
My LO's first birthday went on really well.
It was a memorable day for all of us.

As planned we had a mickey mouse themed party where I made all the decorations myself.
Felt very proud when my relatives were praising me for the decorations and the effort I had taken. Please find the pics of some of the decorations.
1. Return gift covers done from scratch. Made based on Mickey Mouse clubhouse characters.
2. Mickey head shaped Backdrop made of chart paper
3. Welcome board made of chart paper for the door.
