Hi, In many films, i have seen beautiful places in Theni. Like kanden Kadhalai and more films.But now my doubt is, Is there any beautiful places in Theni District? V have a plan to spend four days in very clam and beautiful place in Tamilnadu (except Ooty, Kodai, Valparai, yercadu Etc) Thats y, v choose Theni. 1.Will u pls tell me , What r all the places to visit in Theni or any where in Tamilnadu?:cheers
Hi Ooviya, There are so many places around Theni. Here i listed out few of the places. a) Kumbakarai b) Suruli falls c) Munnar d) Bodi Metu e) Kurangani f) Thekadi All these places are having very nice climates.
Thank u!!!! But i am expecting more........ (Except munnar and thekkadi) Whether it's small place also ok. v need calm and excellent climate places and beautiful and different temples, falls and mountains...... I hope some more guide me.....:thumbsup
How to reach surai falls? I grew up about 25 yrs back near surali falls..My dad used be engineer for the dam constructed on for it to generate hydro electrictiy...I used to remeber riding in his office jeep and some trekking to reach the falls... Iam sure it must be lots developed these days.. Viji
Hi Ooviya, this post might be too late...my native is near Suruli falls there is a place called Highwavy ( in tamil - Pacha kamatchi ) this place is unexplored virgin hill station. if u reach Theni and ask anyone how to go there they will tell you. Suruli falls is good now too but as comes with development, the place has become crowded. the weather is pleasant thro the year except the peak summer months. my would suggest you to visit Highwavy (this is the spelling, dont know why) Regards Santy
