    Hi Il'ites,

Can you please suggest some good places for sightseeing (other than the ones mentioned above) in and around NJ?

We are planning to visit the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Bridgewater and want to combine with some more places. Are there any other temples?

Please do suggest some good Indian restaurants too..meanwhile, I will also search for that info in any other thread.

We've planned our stay for 2-3 days...so it will be great if you can all come up with interesting places in NJ....my kids are 13 and 10 years old..

Six flags great adventure sounds good..have any of you been there ? If so..can you share your experience?

Also googled some museums and aquariums too. Which would be the ideal place to stay to cover the attractions? Cause if we stay near the temple...then the distance to Six flags seems to be an hour drive. So, if anyone can come up with good suggestions..it will be appreciated !

    Awaiting you reply... Thanks !!

    Cheers
    Krithika

    Hi Anitha,

Yes Longwood gardens is very big..you can enjoy...

Especially plan it on fireworks days like any special days in U.S. so you can enjoy both garden as well fireworks at nights...hope you willget that details with keywords.." Longwoodgarden" in net.

Regarding bushkills, planning to visit this year summer.

Jim thorpe , they said its good during falls time, but not as such..its like small town with traditional environment....you will feel like old traditional setting...even that you can enjoy in any season....it will be like different place not like usual U.S with highways road..big shops..just a change from usual one thats it.

I didn't go to Pittsburg temple pa...
