Dear friends,Ihave one picture of pipli work.this is an wall hanging yet to frame.for the framing wooden support is sufficient to hold the cloth above that plastic sheet. Hope you like my work.

yeah sharada. i known this work from net. its like patch work and chain stitch also used that too in white coloured thread to stitch patch work outlines. i think its the correct proc. to do? will u explain its correct or not, and in which material we can use this one. i want to do like this work. its simple and looks great and def. it will occupy our walls as wall hanging i think.

friends ,pipli work is nothing new work ,patch work only.this is the popular art of Orissa.ther is a place named pipli,and people of this place are good artisians and the derived like this. first on the main cloth arrange the designs of your choice put the invisible running stiches above that the outline siches are chain stiches of equal size.crochet thread is good.

Dear very nice work
I purchased a similar work wall hanging in an exhibition over here. But i have not frammed it. Just hang out it at the reading room. It is not even faded when I wash it.
