I'm saving the coins in a box now. Parents introduced savings to me as a kid, I'm also planning to buy one soon for me and my son
Hi sriVidhya, it is a good way of savings. After looking at your thread, I hope people wll start that hobby. I collect it in big glass jar which i bought it in Costco few years back. Every 10 months, I take to the stores and change it o cash. I don't have the patience to roll it. I use it for emergency money or gifts for the kids and DH. It is good way of saving. Good day
Am glad you liked the concept of the thread:cheers did you check out the coin sorters..or coin collectors? where you can just put those coins in that jar and it automatically counts the total amount in the jar:crazy
I usally collect coin changes or any rupees left in purses for the day in nuts box, which has 6 partitions. I put 1 rupee, 2 rupee, 10 rupees, 20 rupees in each partition. This is really easy for us to get any change in need. and recently I found the collection nearly 1000 rupees. I wish to start an account for my DD with this amount. and start putting amount it in. My hubby really appreciated me for this. He too now practised to put changes in that box. Thanks, MoohaKathir
