Pattachitra workshop at Dakshin chitra

    Hi All,
    A workshop on Pattachitra was held in Dakshin chitra last weekend. I attended it but unfortunately could not go on the second day :rant that is yesterday. So I am posting the incomplete picture for you all to see.
    The Good news :) is that the same workshop is going to held on the coming weekend i.e 12 & 13 th of Dec on request. I will attend the sunday workshop to complete the pic.
    Those who are interested may join it. The original artists from Orissa teach you with authentic paints prepared by the students from stone powder & canvas prepared by them. They also give you 6 xerox & 2 coloured photos of pattachtra paintings. Fees is Rs.1000/-
    Actually they are also holding a dry flowers workshop on 12th.
    Participants will be picked up & dropped from Madras craft foundation at Besant nagar. You can contact them at this no: 9841777779.
    I would like to suggest :idea that this opportunity can be used as an IL meet at Dakshin chitra.!!! Those who are not interested in joining the workshop can also make it a picnic trip to meet IL:s ..... how's that.

    Already I been to D.chitra many time with Ds.Now it sounds terrific as an Ilite.But can't think of that since exams are going on for us?.)))))

    Hi friends, I learn that the above mentioned workshop has been postponed to the next weekend.Please verify before planning a visit, with number Vidya had given.
