very nice. what material u used. the pleats have come out very well. can u please share the procedure. if 5 mts is needed means can we use any old saree.
You did such a great job! Looks very well put together. With each piece you sew you will become a pro.
dear sranikrishna... ya u cn use an old saree too as far as d material of ur fabric is soft u cn use any material. i hv used crape material. n as width of my material was around 41 only i needed 5 mtrs.. if width of ur fabric is more thn 43" n ur salwar legnth is 39 or less thn evn 3.5 to 4 metre cloth is enough..
Suravali, should lining cloth be used for patiyala salwar if you are using saree/crepe material?
hey vini... no.. for crepe liner isnt needed as its nt see-through material...and if u r planning to use saree, thn make sure tht u use d one tht doesnt need liner...cz liner can affect the falls of the patiyala...n it wont luk gud with liner..
superb...thanks for sharing

My god, I was so rejoiced to see your patiala pant. I am unable to believe this is your first attempt. I never get the confidence to stitch it. It suits you so well......good snap too. Thanks for your clarification on the materials to be used and measurement required.
