Passport Renewal In Indian Embassy @ Washington !

Ladies,

I am in serious problem.My passport is expiring in 2 months and have already sent the passport and required douments to Indian embassy in Washington DC.Unfortunately we forgot to apply online :spin and just now realised what we did.:hide:
Its been 15 days ,our documents are already delivered as per the traking no and now we are thinking to go in person and apply.But I am worried what if they already sent the passport back or they refuse to work on it in 1-2 days.We live far away and will be driving 10 hrs to reach DC:bowdown
Any suggestions on such situatiuon????
