Why do Adults like to torture kids who are maladjusted? One person I know is still traumatized by middle school years. She had no friends but lot of enemies. Some boys drew Explicit pictures of her and shared it amongst themselves. She didn't understand how to process this and thought it was normal behavior. She took to vandalizing bathroom walls, drawing pictures of people, teachers, janitors and making silly statements about them. The school administrators did nothing till one day, in order to try and fit in with cool kids she drew explicit pictures of someone. That person had sense and complained to principle. Today she is a successful Ph.D. Principle admitted she knew girl was vandalizing bathrooms. Parents and other adults punished her. Father said he had beautiful plans for her life, to take her to settle in India, marry young, have happy, blessed marriage. Instead she has no husband, no child, and is trying to find her purpose in life. But adults should have asked - where did she learn this behavior. Those boys would have been punished. Instead one of them has grown up to be criminal attorney, defending scum if earth who beat their wives, do DUI, expunge juvenile records - her to persue art and writing, to express herself and grow her talents in healthy way - her to not chase people's approval I know another person who is rumored to have broken into a movie theater with his friends, when the owner caught them he did not turn them into the police. He made the boys work for his movie theater. One of the boys developed an interest in theatre and acting. That boy is Vin Deisel, hero of Fast and Furious movies. If movie theatre owner would have punished the boys, do you think they would be remorseful and learn from their mistakes? Do you think they would be successful. If anything they would be scum of earth who need that criminal attorney (who drew explicit pictures of female classmate) to set them free! Just because you are adult doesn't mean you make children and then discard, shun them when they do something wrong. Because they are not the model, poster child. Please comment.
