Here is how you can "NOT" tell her about things..

Hypothetical scenario
Mother: So what's new today?
You:Well..went to work..had lunch...went for walk.....
Mother: What about that financial situation?
You: Its taken care of (no details how,where,what).
Mother : But how?
You: Dh had savings...(change topic)...ma I was thinking about that recipe of yours..how do you make so and so...

For everything...you need to screen what you tell her.They are your parents and you need to love and respect them not have them run your lives.
