    Oh yes.. I am not a MIL. A caring DIL just like you, Gemini. And I can see the fruit of my efforts as a DIL on the way. I can vouch for my suggestions henceforth. :)

    Thanks! ladies, I got little upset to read your comments as they were more or less on the other side. But yes I am happy to read other lines of thought that will enable me to think better - understand what my DH and ILs might feel. This definitely has given me fodder to my thought to look at things in a different perspective (esp. Sita and Malyatha) - which makes me feel more positive.
    As you all had pointed out - Being Diplomatic helps. I am learning it, though I am not very happy doing it.
