Dear all.... I am living in Malaysia..... having 2 1/2 yr old daughter..... my query is.... i bought paraths flour frm shop (Carrefour ...) which can be kept under refigeration...and can cooked in tava in 3 to 4 mins.... My daughter tasted that.. and she just loves.. it.... she asks for me to give that for her.. daily or alternate days...... but im pretty worried whether i can give this .... i saw the pack that there is no added preservative in it.. but please help me.. can we give such foods for toddlers....?? Hi, The frozen parathas are mostly made from maida. So dont give her regularly -- alternatively pillsbury or asoka are wheat i think - do check it and then decide For an emergency, these are fine but regularly - definitely no chitra
Hi brindha, Please don't make a habit of this 'cos child is asking : it is very very very unhealthy ; it is not just maida, but loads of butter and salt in it. Once in a way, ok 'cos growing child . But see even in room temperature, these parathas are hard inside, because of the saturated fat .......:shock: imagine what it would do to arteries if eaten regularly .... Regards.
