    hello everybody

    here is my another creation,nibpaintig.the 3rd one is fabric painting on a pala plate.'pala' is the base of a leaf of arecnut tree.this is dried nd mainly used for serving food.these are available in kerala.years ago they were handmade but now machinemade.

    hi leela ur nib painting is superb..other works also very nice..
    BTW do u know making corner flower vases from the pala leaves(from that curved bottom portion of the base leaf)..ur pics reminded me i had done it long back n painted on it.. for flowers i made painting on dry grass flowers...thanks for sharing..as ucan get many palas in kerala u too can try ...

    thank u so much 4 ur comments. compare to yours my work is nothing. i want to try new stitches. i know abt 60-70 emb stitches. in my mixie cover thread i hav used 4stitches.up&dn buttonhole,oyster,wheatear nd mirrorwork. iam doing other stitches in my next proj. but i do'nt know 'ring knots'. i guess,' the thread wraps' of french knots will be somewhat loose like small loops. is'nt it? l hope u will definitely help me. thanks in advance.

    i hav seen corner flower vase in exhibitions. but i hav'nt done. very cute. l hav never missed any handicraft shows. i had made diff types of artificial flowers long back. due to unavailability of materials in my place[not proper cochin,it's far away frm my place] i had to stop this craft. o,sorry........ am i boring u?
