it is better to use solvent based glass paintings like fevicryl or acron which is washable. when bubbles appear bring the bubble by using a brush near the outline u have made and try to break it with a pin.

hi deepali,,, i think ur in intial stage of painting,,, then better to use nice cardboard and stick a paper on it,,, then start ur painting ,,, try this it will really go well

Thanks for a valuable advice but don't you think in this painting there is no shine ? Your hardboard idea is very good. which side of cardboard should i use?? Grainy or smooth??

hi deepali.
it's a good idea given by viji.the texture white stuff is two types,u will get confuse.so i edited in my previous post,one is provided in camel which is used for cone work in ceramic paints,mural etc.,.the other one is used for back ground(i came across using while preparing artificial cottton canvas).but mostly people use white primer.so can go with viji mam's idea for back ground.if u hav any cone work u can go for camel texture white .sorry for making u confuse.i think now u clear with ur doubts.

step by step.(2 versions)
1)get ur board(ur choice)
2)apply white primer and sand it as said by viji mam
3)trace ur figure.
options version a)u can use ganesha thin wooden blocks ,stick it
version b)or draw the picture
4)leaving the figure ,u apply a nice coat of ur back ground color
5)u can now decorate ur block or figure with ur imagination or paint it .after dry apply varnish.
hope it is useful and if any IL friends any comment or correction ,u can giv.it will be useful for me too.

I got the idea, but please tell i should use primer and sand paper on which side of hardboard - smooth or grainy?? And after primer and scrubbing , I should apply black oil paint for a bit rough look.?? Please refer the painting i pasted in 1st page of this post..

congrats deepu .i wish ur work to come fabulous.sorry i could not help u in the above quest .usually i hav seen all the works done on smooth side of board.the picture u hav send,i can only see ,can't feel the texture.according to me no paint will giv rough look.no idea about that.
