Painting of old kolu dolls

Hai every one,

I have some collection of clay dolls used by my MIL. They are too good. I would like to use them in my golu. Unfortunately, their colors are faded and some black dots are also appearing. I am from coimbatore. I searched for some painters. But i couldn't.

I would like to give a try of my own. Can anyone tell me the procedure of repainting the dolls?
It would really good.
