Oviya Vs Julie..big Boss Tamil..

now i know the secret of why you havent had free time to create other usual 'pondering about abc topic' threads for one month idhaan secret-a! busy with tv

and its no "mind game", just a scripted show like a tv serial. End of the day, all participants will get together and share a beer after the 3 months is done and dusted and audience will feel like it was "all reality", lol at reality shows (be it in US or India, all the same). Good use of free vetti time for audience.

 

Scripted or not, it's entertaining. Why else would people watch, if not for entertainment?

I do enjoy watching Oviya for the way she behaves.. standing up to her bullies, walk away when required, argue when required, apologise when she's wrong, accept when she's wrong, etc, those are some good qualities

N just like any other human, she has her flaws too, lazy in doin tasks, gives opinion even wen not asked, doesn't go with the flow of others (not sure if that's a bad thing).

Carpet scene was epic, did u see the gaya3 dropping Julie scene too? It was funnyy . I think sometimes it's oddly satisfying to watch the evil ones get punished, though it's jus as silly as them falling down.

Gayathri seems to be the pampered one of the lot, last week after all that drama, they didn't question her even once and this week she's the 'good' one.

 

Actually the way Oviya behaved yesterday was wrong(red carpet). But since Julie was continuously irritating her, it was apt for Julie to take this kind of treatment. I don't know why gayathri raghuram was not questioned for her worst behaviour in many episodes. Now she shows as if she is good. She is also given importance. Don't know why.

 

I don't like or hate anyone in this show...Our problem is if we like somebody, we are blind to their mistakes and support them and even justify their blunders..I feel it is wrong..

Imagine this, If Julie had done what Oviya did yesterday in red carpet, What would have happened??? Many of us would have scolded Julie for trying to hurt Oviya!!! But now, as Oviya did this, We are happy and say that Julie deserves it!!!

I wish to reiterate that I don't support Julie or anyone in this show..Participants in this show have their own flaws just like us and nobody is perfect!!!

Using bad words both in tamil or English is wrong and trying to hit/ hurting others is bad and Whoever does this is wrong and Oviya can never be exception for this!!

I know, my opinion may differ from that of others, but I feel that Oviya is being OVERRATED in this show and I doubt whether she deserves the same..

She too has many flaws like other contestants and I think she is NOT THE BEST !!!

 

How many of you, put up with a person like Ovia in real life say, as your co-worker or as your SIL?

We see Julie or Gayu in daily life. Nothing new?

 

Actually I was laughing after reading yours. Oviya as SIL? Different question. Let me see what others react.

 

Can't put up with all three of them, but atleast I will respect someone like Oviya for her attitude like accepting her faults n apolozing right away and if she has a problem with someone, she goes straight to talk to them n forgets easily when sorted.

N will feel pity for someone like Gayathri for blindly believing everyone and she will show anger n face n use words n plain ignores when she hates someone but the moment it's sorted, she apologises n fixes.

But character like Julie, she's the smiling- friendly faced evil, sly, manipulative, backstabbing coworker or Sil or mil we run away from because she can destroy others life with jus a few words or by victimizing herself. (yesterday episode showed her saying that she sat thru the red carpet episode because that way people won't vote for Oviya). Her apologies r fake n awaits to strike even after portraying that all is sorted. Most dangerous out of all.

Scripted or not, jus like any other movies or tv series, v see what is portrayed and like or dislike a character. Yesterday's red carpet scene was similar to how we feel when a bad character gets their butt kicked after their many villainous schemes in a movie / drama.

Personal attacks seems a bit much. But with a so called 'reality' series, that's a bit tough to separate I guess.
