    Dear Friends,
Don't be shocked while looking at the title...our lovers here I meant is our pet and animal lovers..haha..

I was reading a book (really?) :hide: the other day, which my children got from their school fair, years ago.
It has very many interesting facts...might be wondering why I am posting it here..there is a catch..
It is about the inventions..mm...behind some of the inventions our animals friends, helped us to invent somethings which I never knew, it till now..

Let me share post by post, which I read in the book...

We all know man invented airplanes, seeing the birds fly.
Invented ships and boats, looking at the fish which swim.

    1. Suction cups are similar to the suckers we find on the octopus and limpet (mollusks that live on exposed seashores)

    2. The sharp spikes on the running shoes are the extended version of the permanently extended claws of the cheetah.

    3. As man is also a social animal...I am including him here :)
From our finger prints (which has grooves and fine pattern of ridges to get hold of slippery and non-slippery things) the invention of tread pattern on a tire is invented to have a grip on wet roads.

    4. Pottery art from potter wasp...(they collect wet clay and mold it into a nest that can be used after it has dried in the heat of the sun.)

Will be back with more :thumbsup
