Online Grocery shopping in Chennai ?

I know friends who swear by and order from out of city from ibuyfresh - their in-laws are in chennai and this works out very well for them !!!

The elderly people save a lot of effort, they just tell dil what to order

I use vegvillage.in for veggies and fruits. (Very fresh and good quality + on time delivery. Even in person I cannot get such fresh items)
For the rest I use Greens.com.mt. They may or may not be able to deliver based on your location.

isn't vegvillage too costly @sparkle..the fruits are way way too costly. double the regular price outside

Yes, the fruits are mostly expensive. But now I am a regular user, so I am able to save money by using discounts and offers.
This works for me, since they always deliver on time and the quality is very good. We are able to save on gas money for our car. We don't have many good places for veggies and fruits nearby, so we had to roam around a lot before.

Do you use a specific site from the list you gave? May be I will try it and see.

No. i use the local grocer/maligaikadai for my regular groceries. i get wholesale prices makes a lot of difference. just give the list and then go back and swipe the card.

for the fruits, i buy from local shops or from pazhamudir cholai branches.. i like to check fruits myself.

few of my friends use them. but i visit most of the organic stores i mentioned here. and i also have a veg guy who gives us a list and we can call him twice a week.

i also have a lady coming in everyday with greens and vegges..
