The moral of the story is all of us are non vegetarioans knowingly or unknowingly. Exceptions are peep[e like my cousin who shun the sinful nonveg vegetables.

Raji, I am sure she wouldn't use organic manure. Who knows they may contain cow bones or something!

    Balajee,
Humourously described onion pakora's fate at the hands of your cousin.

Onions and garlic comes from the blood of slaughtered cows....is it true..or an exaggeration by your cousin..:confused2:

One thing to be noted...rightly said..knowingly or unknowingly all are becoming non-vegetarians.

BTW, I also like onion pakoras..:)

Sri the notion about onions and garlic springing from blood of cows is not an exaggeration but a superstition which a lot of Hare Krishna people believe. I think it is an integral part of ISKCON creed. The Hare Krishnas also avoid coffee, tea and colas on the ground that they are stimulants. (My cousin always travels with decaf). Well, what's life without onion pakoras,\?

Kelly I always enjoy my onion pakoras unlike the fools who see it as a seasonal dish to be eaten only during rains and others who shun it out of some silly religious superstition. My cousin deserves at least the IGNobel if not the Nobel.
