Aruna, thanks, after seeing how the drivers dodge the traffic, people and cattle in India,
getting license outside India is better, right?
But i always admire the way they drive over there.

    You are correct, Shobana!
The workload is off my hubby's shoulder a little bit only, as he is accompanying me in every drive, because I am not yet adjusted to this curvy road. As you had said am enjoying the wind but the noise blasting maybe in the near future, afraid to take the eyes off the road and enjoy the scenary.

    Hello Sriniketan

Congrats on your achievement. No offense please (for achievement). I could remember my date of getting my drivers license and it was september 25th 2007 in my fifth attempt. I was so much depressed having my friends got theirs in their first attempt itself. I dont know how many tries U had given but for me it was achievement. But even now my husband told me still I need a lot of practice to drive. Anyway I am happy now I can drive on my own. Thanks to the lord almighty for this because each and every action is judged and decided by him.

Praying for your husbands speedy recovery.

    Lakshmi

Here too it is same Sriniketan same like India you just can't understand from where these guys come even little space try to pass their car between small passages.
But once we drive in a discipled traffic it is very difficult driving in India or in egypt. From the time I have come here I am afraid to drive here. From just last 2 to 3 months I have started driving a little bit that to in the complex. As this is a very hugh complex so it is fine driving here might be from next year will start driving into the city gaining some confident.:-D
Happy and safe driving to u

    Hi Lakshmi,
You achievement has to be celebrated, truly to its sense.:partyNo offense, please.

I took nearly 1 written test in 2003 got the Learner's, renewed it and just left it like that. Then I tried in 2005 and 2006 and repeated the same as said above, as I had no time to practice and no body to teach me because they can be flexible only to a certain extent.
even my aunt had commented that the guy in the DMV itself will ask me to take the driver's test rather than repeated written tests.
I got this licence in a single attempt, but in our place even a learner can get it. It is very easy.
Truly said that this is already has been decided upon and we are the one who is impatient.
Thanks for yours prayers. DH is recovering.

    Aruna,
I thought only in India, the traffic is like that.
so you may find it easier to drive in India once you get the confidence to drive out in Egypt.
    Happy driving and be safe!
