Dear Lalitha, In Chennai, in shops like Giri traders, we get special note-books meant for writing Rama Jayam. But, you can write in any diary or note book. You can write as many times as you can, but a minimum no: is generally 108. It instils a sense of self-discipline in one and we spend a few minutes, concentrating on doing a religious activity, if one can also call it so.My mother says, in olden days, even very eldrly people used to do to very regularly more to give an exercise to their fingers. Perhaps, you can even type in a word document in computer, without copy pasting ! Love, Chithra.
