on h4 visa.... H1b sponsorship for biomedical Diagnostics( urgent help required)

    hi all,


    I plan to do 1 year MS in Biomedical diagnostics from ASU.
    I have following queries( I have 10 more days before admission closes, so need urgent help)
    1) Does anybody have feedback on such type of course with respect to the job market?
    2) after graduation, would I be able to secure a job that fits minimum salary and other requirements for H1b?
    3) Do companies sponsor H1b for related positions easily and are there many companies that do that?

    I would call ASU and speak with Director Of Admissions and ask the above questions. They are very receptive to the questions from International students and I am sure it will be of great help to you

    Biomedical and biotech both are a bit difficult to secure a job with minimum pay...

    Somebody correct me if I am wrong...I am just wondering, if Op does this course, its a STEM course, and she will get OPT after the course, she can work with a Desi Consultant for It. ofcourse she will have to justify her education with profession to immigration but I think Biomedical Diagnostic wud have some IT courses also?? I am just asking, I may be wrong, can someone advice on this !!

    yup, I got it now.... It falls under STEM but he/she has to find the exact set of rules
    about the duration and other stuff...


    hope that OP finds a good consultancy to sort out the issues soon..

    Yup i thot so too ! As long as its a Masters course, and falls in STEM category, she shud be good !!

    I would also suggest the same as Kisoreg has suggested, find a Consultant and discuss ur case !! U shud be able to find !!
