    Dear Ladies,

I got a severe Head pain In the back of my head after i tried to straighten my hair at home using the flat iron.. My hair is not so thick and i set the temperature as 130.. Is there a problem if we use heat on our hair..

last time I did in a parlour and had no problems then...

    Hello Jaaisu,

Did you found the cause for the head ache?

Intense heat may sometime results in head ache. And also too much heat exposure is not good for hair. It will cause split ends.

    Hi,
You must have pulled your hair while straightening, it happens if you pull it hard.
Don't go too near roots, just do it for hairs.

low heat and not to pull hair too much while straightening, also make sure you are using good quality straightner,

    Hello Jaaisu,
I agree with all the posters above. You use 160C (which is what I use) and I don't have any problem at all. I think DGeethu is correct it sounds as if you are pulling too hard. Watch this -
karminhairtools.com/advice/how-to-properly-straighten-your-hair-with-your-straightener. It is the one that I have and I use it most days but to curl my hair. Make sure you use a hair protectant before using the straightener. I hope this helps you.
