can i cook okra if the seeds are brownish or black? This is the first time am seeing those colored seeds, and hence was unsure if it was spoiled.

Outside the okra did not look as spoiled, only the seeds are like this and i found after cutting them.

May be ripe/mature seeds cause dark color. Does seed feel very hard to touch?

Not spoiled exactly but more mature or fibrous than tender. It may be little chewy after cooking. Depends on how much of it is like that. If it is just a few and rest r tender I would go ahead and cook it. If it is entire batch I would think about cooking it.
