    Lalitha,

Thanks for your feedback. You are very right... it wont have the taste of frying. . But the fact is... if one has developed a taste for oil less/free, definitely can enjoy it.

    Regards...

Wowwww Gowri, gonna try this for dinner today! Didnt know you had such a great diet-chef inside you:thumbsup Great yaar, have you shared any of your other oil-free receipes? If so, pls get me those links :)))
We are going low on oil, we have reduced to 1litre. Gradually planning to reduce some more. Any idea, how to do pooris with microwave? Now DD is after Poori, every saturday morning she wants Poori. And we all end up having it :)) Any idea in getting this done in m/w?

    Ponlatha...
Thanks...Will share with you all, for sure.
All my cooking are done with "a spoon of oil"....we use a litre of 6-7 months. No fried items at all at home.
We treat ourselves once in a while...by eating outside.

Poori without frying.... I have no idea. But I tried samosa in convention oven with a spray of oil...it came very well.

    Dear Gowri,

Yesterday I tried your oil-free pakora. I didn't microwave it but baked it in conventional oven. It was really good. I sprayed some oil and greased the baking tray. It was not completely oil free but used much much less oil than deep frying.
I kept it in broil mode for 2 minutes and got them crispy and chewy at the same time.

I have done this before but yesterday I was satisfied with the results. Thank you

    Aswini

    Aswini...

As we don't have convention oven in India...we tried this in Microwave.
You are very right.... when compared to fried pakora... oil used here is very very less.

    Enjoy... thanks for your feedback.
