    Dear V sir,

First things first - wise words from a wise man!
In our house for that peace, tasks need to be done my way - especially in situations like a broken dishwasher :) So my DH maintains peace by avoiding coming downstairs during crucial times :) Like I mentioned in my other feedback, glad to have a brand new washer now, and I tell you what, sir, loading the dishes now is quite meditative...seriously! Oh the joy I get! I even separate my steel cycles and china cycles, and love it all!

In my home , blessed on this. DH has been doing this task for a long long time. somehow i am able to handle as fast as him, scrub , quick clean and load the dishwasher.

he though has reached his tipping point. does not want to anything dishes once my son is out of home to college. casually even mentioned moving alone to a retirement home alone (even i am not coming). just wants to do this work, relax and have someone bring the food ready and worry about the cleanup.

    Dear @lavani,

Dishes have been my bane even during my growing-up years, and DH is no help there at all. But I hear your husband - it can get boring and monotonous! Some days, one just wants to eat, and someone else takes care of the cleanup! I also know of husbands who are very picky about how the dishwasher is loaded and won't let anyone else at home load :( I am not sure if I can handle that also! For me, dishes are just that - byproduct of cooking and eating, simpler the better!
