Today I had to go to Banks, pay electricity bill etc. Usually my dh pays the electricity bill but since he was tired I went.Electricity Bill has to be paid in one corner and the bank is another corner. By the time I went to pay Electricity Bill and came to the Bank and finished my work I was damn tired. Thought of taking auto to my place but saw a friend of mine so thought let me go with her , so that I will have company for half way. But unfortunately in between she halted saying she wants to buy vegetables. So I came walking alone till the house.
Just yesterday my sister and me were remembering the days when my parents and grandma was there. They used to struggle so much. They did not have the facilities which we have today. But still they were happy and strong ,lived for manyyears and did not have much health problem. For them hard work was not a problem at all .
My father used to bring the provisions for the month in a cycle riksha when we were staying in Hyderabad. My grandmother used to go and buy vegetables nearby, she will talk to the vegetable vendor only in tamil and get her work done.
But now a days everything has become easy. You can buy things on line, pay your bills on line, need not stand in Q. My sister has more facilities than me. She has a maid who helps her to cut vegetables and do other house work. But still my sister keeps herself busy doing something or other and rests only for half an hour. Freetime she will read Ramayana, Bhagavatham etc. I spend my freetime here in IL. Each one have their own way of living.
If we have will power we can do anything , be strong and keep ourselves healthy. While coming back from bank I met my colleague’s father in law who was happy to see me. He asked me how many years have passed since you retired . I told him 8 years. He was saying good you are maintaining yourself. I was glad to hear that compliment from him.

    Dear Sudha

I know you are always there to give me encouragement and give fbs to all my posts. From people like you only I get the encouragement and will power to write more and more. I feel very happy sharing my day to day incidents with all of you even if I do not get more fbs. I have also to learn from you doing crafts with so much patience. I am only writing but you are making some new crafts which is admirable and creative.

    love
