Costco is having an offer on circulon 13 piece hard anodized cookware.
This deal looks impressive, the cookware is hard anodized, dishwasher safe and oven safe with 13 piece. I have plans of buying cookware and tramontina tri ply clad was my choice until I saw this ad.
Any feedback or review on this cookware set is highly appreciate.
Original cost of this cookware is 199 and now $40 off, so the price is $159.
Offer is valid till oct 17.
Please write about costco's life time return policy, if you have used it.

    Hi Ranchu..
The cookware looks very good in real. It has very good reviews on costco site and other site too.
Costco's return policy is unbeatable. I thought I will hear from some ILites about Indian cooking on these pots and pans.

I am planning to buy the Kirkland brand Steel cooking set.... its priced at 169.99 $. I have recently stopped using Non-stick cooking for indian style of cooking. Since i am SI and use lot of tamrind and do High heat cooking, i read somewhere its not healthy to use nonstick.

Many of my friends have got the steel set and are very very happy with the same.

One of the complaint from our home about these SETS is, they come in many utensils are not useful on daily basis while the mostly used utensils wont come in the right combo. So, I dont show much interest in these package deals.
On the other hand, for those who are Okay for the package, this current offer is a very good offer. Almost same cost as Kirkland similar deal but the Circulon is a very good name brand. Also I have seen these in Costco. The quality is good, handles are soft cushioned.
The offer is already published in the current Costco coupon book.

    Hi Vaidehi,
The below is just a ground work I did for 6 months on all cookware types. Hope this helps you..

If you are planning buy SS, you can go for Tramontina. Kirkland SS set is 5 ply base but not the sides. So it is highly possible for getting burned on the sides. I am also a SI, so when making more of kuzhambu types in SS, there is not much problems. But when making poriyals, sides get burned. But the cookware stays shiney for a long time, and so is Tramontina. This cookware is highly reviewd and tri ply clad all through the set, I mean the base and walls. Other than Tramontina only all clad cookwares are the same type. But All clad costs a fortune and it is more of a status icon.
The only difference between tramontina and all clad is that make and price. ALl clad is made in USA and tramontina in china.
The cookware comes with 2 sauce pan, 2 saute pan and dutch oven. Looks really impressive with a price of $129 (on offer at walmart/ sams club).
I am not a big fan of SS, even if I buy SS, I will go for different non stick pans for frying. My only idea for choosing SS is they are dishwasher safe and oven safe.
I have Circulon in mind because they are everything wat I wanted i.e dishwasher safe, non stick surface but not teflon, oven safe. Only thing I am concerned is too many piece and durability of the cookware.

I am waiting from our ILites to review on this product..
@ Sarah: please update this thread with your feedback, I am waiting eagerly ;)

yeah ladies i willl surely update on the cookware, 5years back when i got newly married my hubby bought one non stick hard anodized cookware 11 piece set and all of them one by one gone and in between i bought so many single pieces of non stick pans and pots but i was missing that whole cookware set thing so its our 5th anniversary and was looking for some new cookware so finally after seeing in the coupon booklet bought this new Circulon Premier Professional 13-piece Hard-anodized from costco
iam from south india and i do heavy cooking,
lookwise the costco set is tooo good, durability is perfect, that brown chocolate color is so attractive and the handles are cushioned so hands will not get burnt, sizes of the vessels are good and i use all sizes depending on what i cook so for me its ok even if it is too many piece, reviews are also good and 98% gave 5 stars
one more thing though they say dishwasher safe and oven safe, i always prefer to hand wash them and not to use in oven cause i want them to last for atleast 3yrs
if there is costco near by you people can have a look as they kept a display set so you can just touch and feel
iam going to cook in these vessels in couple of days and i will update again
