i know, first few weeks after return from india is the hardest...you/shanu will slowly get used to this routine life ...I guess you must be mostly missing all the help you got back home ...and now back to taking care all by urself...it sure will keep you occupied ..

How are you managing cooking and other chores with the baby when your hubby goes to work? let me know ..If I am home Diyu needs me around her (holding her or playing with her) all the time and doesnt let me do anything....sometimes i keep her in my hips and try to cook but its really hard ...also I dont want her around when i m dealing with hot stuff ..I put her in her high chair and let her watch me cook but then she is ok for first 5mins or so and then wants me to lift her

Hi everyone,

Our lil one's birthday went as planned. The decoration, cake, food n return gifts were all appreciated by the guests. Everyone we invited has attended and made it a memorable event.

The theme was rainbow, the decorator used thermocol clouds, raindrops, rainbow and cartoon characters. balloons and streamers were used in the hall and at the entrance. We got an dry fruit two layer cake of rainbow theme. The top layer was decorated with rainbow pattern with sugar cream, lower layer had some multicolor flowers. It was a big hit both with kids and elders.

We have made an collage of swastika's first yr and placed it near the dinning area. everyone liked it too. The return gifts were string bags, colorful scratch cards and small pack of gems in a goodybag. Tatoo artist has entertained kids and youngsters.

The food was applauded too. above all Swastika has coperated well all throughout the event and gave good poses to the camera man. Today we sat and saw the video and photos of the event which came out really really good. I felt releaved and satisfied with the event gone smoothly. Everyone who came to the party appreciated our pains. Next big event is to protect swastika from harsh bathinds winters. i am taking precautionary ayurvedic medicines for cold, cough and fever with me.

we will start back our journey to bathinda tomorrow and reach home by night.

The memories of first glance n cry of Swastika are still fresh and today she is already 1yr old.

Dont worry. Each child achieves their milestones on their own pace. Mine too takes only a step ot two after that he sits down and starts crawling.

Hey mommies, where r u? what a big silence since last 1 and half month....how are your lo's? i was in hometown since last 1 month. i logged in today and saw no activities in this club

My updates: i am really enjoying this phase. my lo talks a lot. runs away and hides herself at diff. places. we play together, dance together. But, she has become a fussy eater. i have a hard time feeding her. what abt your lo's? pls give me tips..

yeah this club has really done silent for more than a month.

Swastika is 14m plus and is really become naughty, super active... she loves watching and dancing to latest item numbers, advertisements etc thats what she watches on tv, i try to show her rhyms or disney cartoon but she gets bored within 5-10min.

Thankfully she is not very fussy abt her diet and food i give her. She keeps moving around once her tummy is half full i leave her so and after 10-20 min she come back to me to finish off with the remaining. She completely stopped b'feed and formula feed. she is on toned milk(4.6% fat) completely. Her doc says its fine if she stopped b'feed when rest of her parameters r fine.

Its cold here and i see red rash on her checks and chin on one of her had she had these rash which looks like heat rash but she shows no signs of itching, her pediatrician has given some medicine but it doesn't seems to work. have to take her to skin specialist.

She is party kid and loves dancing, everybody admires her smile and dancing interest.. touchwood.

Today there was an Christmas party in our AF station. This naughty girl has pulled the santa's beard.. i thought she would be scared but...!!
