Suddenly my liking towards oats has increased! So back to back trying oats for breakfast . Oats idly is really tasty and healthy as well! Here goes the recipe ! Ingredients Steel cut oats / Rolled oats - 1 cup Wheat rava or normal rava - 1 cup Ginger Urad dal Channa dal Carrot grated Peas Curd - 1/2 cup Eno - optional Soda - little Salt Water Green chillies Method Powder the oats in mixer and keep aside . In a pan add little oil , mustard, urad dal , channa dal, ginger ,curry leaves ,chopped green chillies and fry. Now add wheat rava and fry until raw smell is gone . Now add oats powder to it and mix well for some time . Let it cool completely ! Now to this mixture add curd, grated carrot, peas , coriander , salt and water . The consistency should be like rava idly batter . Keep it aside for 15 min. Now add soda. Add eno if required and immediately pour into the idly plates and steam it for 10-12 min. Can be served with chutney or sambar !
