oat meal for 8 month old baby

hi all,

I was just wondering whether anyone could give me right suggestion on feeding my LO with oatmeal.. i tried it once and she l;iked it a lot. i took oats and some corn flakes and using a blender made it int fine powder and made it as a porridge.. she absolutely loved it.. but later i got confused thinking whether it can cause weight reduction as oats are often being consumed as people go for diet or weight reduction diets..

my baby was a preemie and she was born at 31 weeks and weighed 1.13 kg only.. i had tough time in making her gain weight and now she is just keeping her normal weight. i dont want her to lose her normal weight though she is active otherwise..

Please help me to find a solution..
