    hi
if your kids are US citizen, and if you want to join them in schools in india, do we need to reveal to the school authorities about their US citizenship...
will they fall under NRI fees structure,in that case..
    please clarify..

    Hi Raji,
If you are planning to get an admission in international schools, they will ask proof of citizenship (either Indian/US). So you will have to show the passport and yes the kids will fall under NRI fees structure.
BUT, if you are planning to get an admission in regular schools (not international) I don't think they will ask any proof of citizenship. I have also heard that most of the famous schools are being very picky and asking for proof of citizenship!!

    Hope this helps!

All the schools ask for a birth certificate,I think. So anyway they will come to know abt U.S citizenship, even if you don't want to reveal.

In ordinary schools, the fee structure is the same
