[IMG]Eat a Cranberry Day is today. Cranberries are good for you. How many cranberries will you eat today?
Native to North America, cranberries are grown in bogs, and are primarily grown in New England. When the pilgrims landed at Plymouth Rock, they found Native Americans harvesting them, and eating them. Native Americans also used them as dyes for clothing, and for medicinal purposes.

One of only a few native North American fruits, the cranberry was an important staple long before the Pilgrims arrived. Native Americans, who referred to cranberries as sassamanash, made cakes prepared with lean, dried strips of meat pounded into paste and mixed with animal fat, grains and cranberries.

Because of the vitamin C content of cranberries, captains of the early sailing ships supplied their sailors with cranberries to prevent scurvy.

The plain, or salty truth of it ,is that today is National Cashew Day. It's a nutty day, if there ever was one.

Celebrate this day by eating cashews. Eat them any way you like: plain or salted, as a snack or in a recipe. Eating them is all there is to participating in National Cashew Day
We believe that this day will truely be all that's its cracked up to be. In a nutshell, this day is a lot of fun.

Hey gals where are you all........yet another relish day to roll on.

Its OPEN day today.Searched for a long andfound nothing.
So lets rock n roll with our fav.
For me it mean lets be open minded to everything.
To have an open mind means to be willing to consider or receive new and different ideas. It means being flexible and adaptive to new experiences and ideas.
Cultivating an open mind is another valuable outcome of critical thinking and reasoning.

    People who are open Minded:
Are more accepting of others and have fewer prejudices
Are more optimistic and make the most of life
Have less stress because they are more open to change
    Have better problem solving skills
Want to learn more, therefore are more interes

    HOW OPEN MINDED YOU ARE???????

    Hi Saroj,

Open Day is a day when a university is open to the public and prospective students and parents are able to gather information, and talk to current students and staff.
Its a chance for them to find out more about the campus, courses and the services there.

And my dear friends, thanx for not sharing with me your kaju katlis [IMG].

    Bye
