Bobby is a few shops after Naiduhall. I like their anarkali collections ( I went after reading a post in IL, not sure where). You will find it out, if you walk a little off NH. Also, all stores have bissylissi materials. You can even try Kairasi/Kalanjiyam or may be even NH.

And no anu, no cup cake liners in Pondy Bazzar as much as I know. I got mine from Walltax, and some from Poppat Jammal ( at a exhorbitant price)

bobby is a very small shop ..not even 600 sq.ft i suppose...so just keep walking slowly..There is a peter england showroom very next to it ....

Even shops like nalli and kumaran have wide range of bisilisi materials :thumbsup

 

In old nalli take the first right as soon as you enter the shop..in that area,the rightmost corner has always collections of organza/organdi sarees..They are beautiful tusser like stiff cottons..The entire saree is plain..just in the border they have mild embroidery...You can very well use it for creative works..looks very elegant too..all are light shades with dark shade of the same color for embroidery in the border

 

any idea where we can get good chandni brocade fabric and brocade fabrics?

 

if u get , soft cottn, u need not startch them, they will look great even if u dont starch them...i dont starch any of my coton salwars....
