    There is lake Lure, Mountains, Carowinds , Lazy Ranch(interesting if u hv kids), Malls like Southpark Mall, Carolina Place mall, Down town is so beautiful with soo many interesting activities good place to just roam abt. Charlotte is full of parks every nook and corner also.

    Myrtle beach/Hilton head are about 4 hrs from here....ray's splash planet is fun if you have kids.. it's close to uptown.....blowing rock/Boone/Asheville are good places to visit ...also grandfather mountain.....there is also this white water rafting place near uptown .......discovery kids in Huntersville is awesome place for kids
