Any medical test required while applying for RP? In order to process residence visa, you have to undergo medical fitness test at designated clinics. You can request for a report within 24 hours or 48 hours. Normal process takes about 10-14 days. the charges will be extra for 24 hours and 48 hours processing. Once medical fitness certificate is received, Residence visa will be stamped within 3-4 working days. 2. Whether employment visa and Residence permit are one and the same? Empolyment visa is issued for the purpose of landing at the airport and residence permit is stamped on the passport. 3. Even if we open a bank account in Dubai, Is it possible to get the cheque book ASAP? Yes, you can open current account and get cheque books within 7-10 days.

Amrutha, Hope you don't mind if i answer your queries Firstly, there is only one Al Nahda..Its on the border between Dubai and Sharjah. Secondly, you can find a whole lot of used furnitures which are in good condition. Many expatriates living the country sell them for good prices and many others wishing to change their sofa sets sell it too. You can find good deals on www.dubizzle.com and you can find hundreds of ads in the newspaper... Hope, I have answered your questions to your satisfaction.

The market here is picking up and i am sure you and your husband can find a job that suits you...Of all cities in the UAE, Dubai is the best place to live in my opinion. Its a very liberal city with lots of activities happening all round the year. If its okay with you I will PM you my email id..You can send me a brief note of what kind of job you are exactly looking for. You can even send me your and your husband's resume if its okay with you. My husband is into recruting and he works as a regional staffing manager for middle east. He places hundreds of resources every month from various IT sectors.
