Needy Elder Brother...frustrating To Deal

Hey everyone,
Just wanted to update this thread for the ones who took time to reply to my issue.
First of all, all is well with me and my brother.
I spoke to my sil later and we discussed for long. She calmed my fears and dispelled unwanted worries. When I met my brother, we got along fine. I didn't butt in offering money when we talked about his big purchase and there were no awkward moments. Thanks to all who took time to reply this thread
