    Hi all,

I am a great lover of hibiscus flowers. In my very small terrace space, i m growing around 11 colours of hibiscus plants. All are single and layered. i love to visit them in mornings. In the evening i use to collect all the closed flowers and dry it shades. i have been collecting it for two years. It is now in a huge bag.

I don't want to waste as it has lot of uses. But i do not know any...

Please friends can u give me tips to use those dried hibiscus flowers.

    Thanks in advance..

Wonderful. Amazing that you have managed 11 colors in the terrace. Just buy Shikakai, (btw which city you are from) if its available in your place mix with the dried flower add a hand full of methi (fenugreek) seeds and get it grind in the machine. Use it for hair wash, and you will feel blessed. Trust me I have done it.

You can boil red hibiscus petals in coconut oil, strain and apply it on the hair for dandruff free healthy hair.

    hi

if u have the plain red hibiscus u can make a fresh tea out of it which has a huge control over ur heart functioning.

for making the tea u dont have to dry it. pick up the red flowers in the evening and u can make tea the next morning as it is healthier to consume in the moring.

boil one glass of water. when the bubbles start coming in add the flower alone 2 or 3 flower's petals alone . allow it to get boiled for 3 - 5 min in simmer strain it add sugar or honey of ur choice..

same things without sugar can be cooled and used as a conditioner for hair. but only red flowers

Shikaikai is available in all 'Nattu marundhu kadai', donno how to say this in tamil. I use to grind in machine only since there it will be grounded as a fine powder
