Ever since the pandemic started, life hasn’t been that good.
Of late I’ve been having many anxious thoughts..
Sometimes even small and insignificant things make me anxious.
I feel some uncertainty about my marriage and future of married life.
About health in general as I’m taking many medications.
I also haven’t been successful in getting a high paying job and only did some temporary assignments.
I really want to be employed permanently in a good stable job...
Somehow these days I feel very low and anxious.
Anything I can do to control anxiety and be happy ?
According to suggestions from close ones I tried meditation and spirituality but not much of relief.
And no, I’m not ready to consult any counselor or pscycologist. Already my H and in laws misunderstand me to be an arrogant and good for nothing girl. I don’t want the mentally disturbed tag attached to me.

Take good quality ashwagandha tablet or powder, it helps reduce stress anxiety. Do breathing exercises regularly. Improve your diet with lots of fresh vegetables and fruits especially leafy greens, berries, melons etc. reduce processed foods, fried food, eggs, dairy, soy, corn, canola oil etc. focus on your health more than anything. Built confidence in yourself that no one can bully you. You can live your life without husband. Keep saying to yourself that you are strong and independent.
Do not argue with anyone. Talk to the point and leave it. Focus on your long term goals like improving health, finances etc. be smart in talking. Even if someone provoke you control yourself and talk only if necessary. If you keep trying for better job you will get definitely. Good luck with everything.

There is an app called "wysa" it's a AI powered chatbot - mental health app to reduce anxiety you can install in your phone.
    It's helpful.
Join support group, study group, job hunting groups in fb, follow consultants, resume builders, head hunters in instagram for job.
Join LinkedIn to find your dream job, tweak your resume for every job you apply.
Above all write gratitude journal & progress journal.
Create a vision board for yourself.
Thinking about future can make us anxious worrisome. Read books too.

When we do not what may happen the very next moment, why worry? Try your best and be prepared for the worst, this was my Mantra.

Please reply whether I am thinking correct or not .

After I discovered I am having depression disorder I don't want to pass on to my family my children .I am getting recurring feeling I am a burden to my husband. My family will be happy when I allow him to marry a new healthy women , so that he will be happy and my children will have a happy family. As I am still young , I want to donate my organs to the needy people. I want to end up in this way useful to society instead of being a burden and crying at-home..I don't see any hope in me ..

    Am I correct or wrong?

Please do not think like that. See doctors or psychologist or psychiatrist as soon as possible. Depression is very common problem now a days. Don’t be shy to ask help. Talk to your family or friends about your feelings. You are not burden on anybody. If you are feeling suicidal get out of that environment and do some activity. Put your energy in something productive.

Is not having a job giving you anxiety?

Coz many threads you have mentioned about work.

Any job is still a job and respectable if that is what you really want.

If you are sure that getting a job will clear anxiety and will make you feel better..then you can take tuitions or even aftercare or school Jobs, freelance etc something to keep you occupied and if that’s what is needed to feel good. Then next time when someone asks..you can tell that I do this job so they will not bother.

If job is not the real reason..then you need to find out the real reason for anxiety.

    Put down a list :

    1) what bothers you ?
    2) what do you want from life?

In this world..our dreams will never match reality.Society has conditioned people to be a certain way and any deviation..they makes us feel like a failure but remember that is never a fact. It is just herd mentality.

Be in touch with “your“ reality and try to make changes.

What we see of other lives is very superficial. There are lot of behind the scenes story.

With your knowledge, there might be many people envying your life! People might see you a safe, secure woman with a happy family. .Only you know the true story.

    Everything is a mirage.

You cannot allow other people to affect you to the level of spoiling your physical and emotional health.

Instead of getting angry over people and situations, practice “Acceptance”.

Try to do things in your control.

    1) read good books
    2) check out Udemy
    3) Go for good walk
    4) watch nice movies
    5) Make it a point to eat healthy and do your best.

Being a fitness oriented person myself..I still say being slim never equates healthy.I know women who are on the healthier side but very strong and healthy.

So just enjoy being healthy.Rest will follow.

Drink lots of water, eat good food, allow yourself cheat meals, limit conversations with in-laws and remember your happiness only lies in your hands!!

Do not think just coz people smile and party..they are happy! Not all the time..

You can be alone and still very blissed out..

    Be aware and stay blessed.

Also nothing wrong in consulting a counselor or psychologists. You don’t need to go in person.Even many are there to help you online.Psychiatrists prescribes medicines.Try a counselor.Never rule out options.

Your life..and you DESERVE to be happy!!

You want to take revenge on critical people?

Let them think whatever they want.Inwardly if you are peaceful and content..that is the best revenge. You living your life your way and being happy is the biggest hit you can give critics.

    Be happy! God bless :)

Thanks a lot friends for your replies. Few things which made me anxious are -
Delay in getting a proper full time job. I loved my job when I was working and I was able to afford so many things and was so confident. As age and career gap increases I feel a sense of insecurity .
    Health issues.
Relationship with my husband isn’t good. During newly married days, my husband was very affectionate and good with me but from past 2 years he is moody, aggressive and mean and unpleasant to me. I can see how other ladies are treated like queens by their hubbies. Im treated as housekeeper and maid .I’m disillusioned with the idea of marriage.
Earlier I used to take so much care of my appearance , I don’t feel attractive these days.
Social isolation from friends and parents due to Covid situation.
Even now when people are socializing gradually, I hate to meet relatives as I see how husbands are giving respect and affection to their wives and I ain’t getting any.
Thanks all for understanding my issues and advising.
Vitamin deficiency is a possibility, I will get my levels checked soon.
