Re: REg ORAL AND Mouth kiss

    Hi,
I am sorry to hear about your stress..How old is your little one...I have a 5 month old and I am still very reserved about getting to normal life...

What I can suggest is just talk with your husband and tell him your issues...if you are ok with cuddling and little other activities let him know.

This takes time just time and patience will help..If you are not ok with a full blown kiss..you may say that just give me a peck...

    Good Luck..

Birth Control Methods - Need help

    Hi,

My gny suggested me the following options for BC
    1. Copper t
    2. Pills
    3. Condoms
Copper t - I heard it cause heavy and painful periods.
Pills - I am not sure about its side effect and how far i can trust that.
Condoms - DH is not interested in that and we dont have a way to dispose it.

I am bit confused on this. Please suggest which one is the best option for BC

    Hi,

As far as I consider, condoms is the best way for birth control. Pills may surely have a side effects, unless the medication is prescribed by a doctor.

Please talk to you hubby and have him to use the condoms. Its more convenient for both and easy to dispose.

    Thanks Elbow,
Condoms we are bit skeptical about that because one of our neighbors drainage has got stuck few months back and the reason was condoms. We are in a joint family and if something happens like this, it wld be of a big shame on us.

    Hi Padmini,
I understand your problem being in a joint family. Never throw the condom in the drainage or toilet closet. Always throw the used condoms in the garbage bin wrapped with a paper.

These days condoms are quite common in all the families and the safest & cheapest way. Most of the men may not be fullfilled in intercourse using a condom. Initially for 2-3 times they feel like that, but will be after some days. I felt like when i first used the condom. you can ask your hubby to ejaculate the sperm out, but this is not 100% safe, sometimes you may get pregnant on the ovulation date.

    Hi Padmini,

I use a Copper T myself and my co-sisters also use Cu T. None of us have experienced heavy bleeding. When I asked my gny abt the rumored heavy flow, she recommended that I get the Cu T which is available privately in pharma shops. She said that these are thinner and more flexible. Making it easy to insert and no such side effects. She said the govt ones are cheaper, but more thicker and not flexible either.

You could chk with your gyn about it. I had to order mine in a pharmacy and they got it for me within 2 days after which I got it inserted. Touch wood, no problems till date.

    Regards,
    P

Padmini, how about diaphragms with spermicide. If you have an attached bathroom, it is very discrete. And is non-hormonal. Condom has the least risk but does not work well if it is not well fitted.
I find hormonal pills a problem, I do have rather profound changes in my body and mind when I am on BCP.

    Thanks vinu4me, tikka nd Elbow.
Tikka, we have attached bathroom in our bedroom, i shall think of diaphragms with spermicide.
And now we kind of settled to condoms.
Vinu4me: My co-sister had copper T and inspite of that she got pregnant, but in 50 days she had a natural abortion. Also her loop got dislocated and they did some surgery to get it out (endoscopy i think), and some of my friends had heavy bleeding problem...so i m thinking a lot about CT.

That's nice. Condoms are also safest way of protection.
