    Hi Divya,

You can grow Money Plant (indian money plant), white lily and bamboo shoots. I have them in my house where I face the same prob of sunlight. Usually these plant dont need direct sunlight. Once in 3 days, u can place them in ur balcony when its still bright outside and water them and then get them back inside after 1-2 hrs. Actually I placed my lily pot under my living room lamp and it thrived due to heat from the lamp.It was alive till 2yrs.We shifted our house n so had to give it away.So even our lamps work.
    Wishing you healthy plants!!

Unless you give some more indication of the amount of at least indirect light that you get in the balconies only general suggestions can be given.
    Ficus Benjamina Variegata
    Ficus Eleastica Decora
Ficus Elastica variegata all grow well indoors. They do not flower. At least not showy flowers. But the distinctive foliage makes a good show.

Various types of heliconia (Bird of paradise type) grow well in pots and have distinctive and showy flowers. But they can become large so you need big pots and space.

Impatiens (Balsam) is a good flowering plant. These are small and can form lower level companions to the bigger ones.

Pelargoniums (otherwise known as geraniums) are another group of small but well flowering plant.

Anthuriums can be exciting. Leaves can be as showy as the flowers. Flowers remain for a long while.

I have left out Begonias. It has a rapid growth, colorful leaves and a willingness to flower.

The fantastic heart shaped leaved Caladiums with amazingly intricate pattern on leaves is worth looking at.

Thre are a whole range of philodendrons (loosely called money plant). One has to watch out for these. (Idatthai kodutthal madatthai pidungum - இடத்தை கொடுத்தால் மடத்தை பிடுங்கும்). I seem to be in danger of doing that myself if I do not stop here.

I cannot bring myself to close without a mention of orchids.
Broad leaved orchids can do well in hanging pots. Plants are not showy but the flowers are regal and remain on for a long while.
